This summer I did nothing. Other than a trip to Bangkok. And going to a smelly gym.

I met a couple of people who I want to be. Met a few others who depressed me beyond life. Didn’t meet some others who I think I would have enjoyed talking to. 

This summer I stewed in my own boring head where my thoughts, much to my disappointment, are both mediocre and utterly insignificant. I’m not bright and clever. I’m not even scary and damaged. I’m bored and I’m, as I discover, excruciatingly boring.

Over and above, I think I have hypothyrodism  which makes me the person I was six years ago. Angry, depressed and sleepy. It also throws around my moods like a rabbit on ecstacy.  Atleast I wish I were a friggin’ genius so that I could write a book about my troubles( which would be oh-so-complex) later in life.

So what did you do this summer?

I love pretty feet. I have the biggest weakness for pretty shoes.

Slim ankles, well defined arches, a hint of  tendons and lovely toes with trimmed nails.

Feet in flip-flops, open toed sandals, stiletto heels, ballet flats. I like it best when you can see a little bit of the foot. I dislike shoes except for All Stars and I abhor sneakers.

My favorite pass-time is to look at people’s feet and judge their lives by it.  I’ve sat in cafes and looked at the feet walk by. In Bangkok, where I was recently, women walked on uneven streets with the most beautiful shoes on earth which are so godwafully uncomfortable. So I walked to Summer School everyday looking at the ground, watching feet go by.  I loved the experience better than almost anything in the world.

When I become so rich that I stop converting currency, I’m going to buy all the goddamn shoes in the world.  Yeah.

This is my comeback post. Save it.

I have never been cool.

I seem to miss Being Cool all the time – either I’m too late, too nerdy, too fat. too intense, too focused, too virginal. Just too anti-cool.

Why I speak about this is that here, on BlogLand, I feel cool. I feel pretty and witty and funny. I like people that I meet here -who though may look 60 are pretty witty and funny themselves. :)

My blog made me cool. So. I’m grateful.

Needless to say. I love my blog and wish it a very very happy birthday.

Why they broken up .

I was the Harvard National Model United Nations.

My new Year resolution was/is to be open and affectionate.

Open.

Affectionate.

If you have known me in the past, you will believe I’m NOT these two things. I have always been secretive (horribly so) and my affection/love is reserved to two people in the entire world (not counting babies).

So this year, I have decided to be things I haven’t been in the last 21 years.

I have nothing more to say.

I am Cristina Yang. 

I holidayed and came back. Happy, tanned and with three pairs of medium heeled pointy sandals. And a very nice fake Valentino bag.
