Limbo

with 14 comments

I’m in a fucking limbo. A great big yawn in my life where nothing happens.  Or everything is swirling around me and I’m dragged along like a piece of TP someone used to wipe their crap on and dumped into the pot. Like all Indians.

I’m waiting for the moot to be done with. To prove to myself some things which I don’t consider important.

I’ll go there. Get humiliated. Be laughed at. Be talked about.

Then go read Harry Pottah 7.

Or maybe head to Leopold, Bombay.

My city of orange-pink sunsets.

Don’t get Talli

with 15 comments

I turned 21 yesterday. Amidst much fanfare and stuffing cake down my shirt, I turned legal.

Well, legal enough to be served porn with some beer flowing around. While smoking pot. Happiness.

My first cake said ‘Don’t get Talli’.

My second said ‘Love, To Malaveeka’.

My third said ‘Eat me’.

All chocolate. Just as I adore.

I thank every darling who called/texted/g-talked/yahoo-d/wished me in person. Thank you, my babies. I lowves you all very very much. Kissies!

Happy Budday to me!

Special mentions:

1. Ameesh. Very nice. Second to call. Thank you, sweetie.

2. K: My baby who forgave me.

3. Avi: I still hate you bitch, but WTF! You called ISD.

4. Mum/Dad: Who stayed up. I know how hard this is for you, my darlings. I love you so much my cup overfloweth. Muah.

5. Saurabh: Darling boy. Who called from Doon which minus a Barista would be a village. Thank you love. For finding the range and the time. Hugs.

6. Su: Who shall meet me and get me a book. I love you, baby girl.

7. Arjun: :)

8. Sandbox: How you made my day about you. Thanks for calling though. That too on the mobile. 9. Satpal: Who made sure he was the first to wish me and the last.  I would never say this to your face though but you’re the sweetest thing. Bitch.

10. Megsie: The love of my life. I love you my darling baby. Even though you were a tad overdressed. I don’t care.

11. The Gang: Thank you sweeties. For the ‘Bombay Store’ gifts.

As Good As It Gets

with 9 comments

Again, I watched this movie.

How I love Jack N. when he says to Helen H. the things he says.

And that dog is so adorable.

‘What if this is as good as it gets?’

Smoky the Dog

with 9 comments

smoky sits outside looking at the rain. he waits for the smells to subside so he can concentrate on one. he looks out and smiles at his Owners.

they’re under his favorite tree. he wonders if they’ll find a half-chewed pair of Calvin Kleins chads buried with an auzure eye of a once-beloved doll.

they don’t.

he watches them digging in the rain. the dirt smeared bunch of them, digging beneath his favorite tree.

dig dig dig.

dog dog dog.

he yawns.

they cry. and find the eye.

they cry somemore.

then they gently put a mild dog with beautiful honey eyes in the watery hole.

they drop the open eye, his favorite bowl, some rice so he doesn’t get hungry and a letter.

smoky looks on. his once caramel eyes cloudy with cataract.

he sighs and turn round and round before he settles for his nap.

the rain pours still, the heavens gently weeping.

goodbye, my sweet. said the letter.  we love you.

smoky. aged 10. Good DoG!

To R, the one we still look for when we open the gates.  Look at the stars, look how they shine for you…

George!

with 11 comments

George says;

Slurping and chomping while eating has to be two of the most annoying sounds in the world. Maybe it’s just me, but I think these are worse for the ears than nails on a chalkboard.

I read George! all night.

I like a lot. Fat, slob, irritating, game-playing, funny boy.

Hmm.

‘And he has a click in his name!’
